The Salla Border Crossing on the Russian side of the Fenno-Russian border was inaugurated and opened to international traffic by the leaders of goverments Prime Minister of Russia Michail Kasyanov and Prime Minister of Finland Paavo Lipponen on 27 September 2002.
   Prime Ministers accompanied by high ranking officials are looking at the MetExpert family XRFA-devices which are the irreplaceable part of custom equipment for control of the freight traffic.
   More than 500 devices are installed at the numerous costoms control points, metalurgic plants, precious metal and alloys processing companies, ecological control stations, as well as at airports for aircraft turbines monitoring.
